15" PixelSense Touchscreen
The Surface Laptop 5 features the 15" PixelSense touchscreen. With a 2496 x 1664 resolution at 201 ppi and a 3:2 aspect ratio, the display provides a high-res experience. The display has a 1300:1 contrast ratio. With up to 400 nits of brightness, the display has Dolby Vision IQ support. The screen has 10-point touch support, allowing you to use your fingers. The screen supports sRGB and Vivid color profiles. Each display is individually color-calibrated.
Connectivity
Stay connected while on the go with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless connectivity. The Surface Laptop 5 features a 720p front-facing camera and dual far-field Studio microphones for video chats. The Surface Laptop 5 has Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos support. You can also connect other peripherals and accessories with Bluetooth 5.2. There is also a Thunderbolt 4 port for up to 40 Gb/s of data throughput. Other connections include a USB-A port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single port.
Windows 10
