When you need to be on your feet to capture the action with your heavy, professional video camera, this lightweight Quantum Magnetic Shoulder Rig with VCT Mount from Proaim takes the load off your arms during extended handheld shoots. The rig is designed to support a heavy cine camera with accessories, transferring the weight onto your shoulder for endurance and stability. The universal baseplate has a slot that allows you to slide and balance your rig, and it features two rubber pads on top to protect your camera. A magnetic system on the bottom allows you to easily flip the baseplate to access the camera screws on the bottom.
There are also four 15mm LWS rod ports on the baseplate, and 7.9" and 11.8" 15mm rods are included for adding accessories, such as a battery plate, matte box, or follow focus. The dual rubber handgrips mount onto the ARRI-style rosettes on the shoulder plate and are adjustable to any position. The bottom of the mount features a cushioned shoulder pad and a V-lock VCT-compatible mount for quick tripod rig mounting. There are also 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the shoulder pad plate to store extra screws.
