This TeachLogic IRM-6630/CS4 Maxim Wireless IR Receiver/Amplifier System is based on the 4th-generation, Maxim (IMA-540) 50W digital Class-D amplifier/mixer, the company's flagship infrared classroom audio system that comes ready to support both in-person and hybrid learning.
In addition to the Maxim, this complete system includes a microphone package with a Sapphire (IRT-60N) hands-free, wireless IR transmitter/microphone—featuring Security Alert, Teacher Priority, muting, remote line input, and remote volume control—and its plug-in charger (BRC-15). There is also a wireless handheld transmitter/microphone (IRH-35) with its drop-in mic charger (BRC 101). A ceiling dome sensor (ICS-55) with its 50' plenum-rated cable is included. The IRM-6630/CS4's speaker package comes with four ceiling speakers (SP-628) and tile bridges (TB-6.1) plus four 25' plenum-rated, 18-gauge speaker wires.
The Maxim Receiver/Amplifier supports remote learning video conference with Echo Guard, automatic energy saving "sleep" mode, two infrared microphone receivers, four line inputs (with one computer anti-hum circuit), two line outputs for ALS or other, fire alarm first priority, enhanced intercom page muting and selectable page pass-through, five-band equalizer, selectable Security Alert feature, Digital Feedback Guard, and RS-232 connection for control panel.
The TeachLogic IRT-60N Sapphire is a compact and lightweight infrared microphone that can be worn around your neck or clipped to clothing, making it well suited for teachers, instructors, and lecturers. Its cardioid polar pattern delivers focused vocal clarity with minimal ambience while the built-in breath filter reduces plosives and the integral rubber shock suspension impedes vibrations. The internal lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of use and conveniently recharges via a micro-USB connection (available separately).
The ITR-60N Sapphire also features a 3.5mm stereo aux input to accommodate an external source such as a smartphone, an MP3 player, or a headworn mic. The mic gain and amplifier volume are adjustable, so you can effectively optimize the signal level. The power button doubles as an easy mute on/off function. When the IRT-60N Sapphire is used with a compatible amplifier/receiver, the switchable teacher priority automatically lowers the audio volume of aux/line inputs upon detection of incoming mic signal.
