The Quantum Baseplate for RED KOMODO from GLOBAL DYNAMICS UNITED is the foundation of the modular Quantum system. This main baseplate incorporates a rear expansion mount, bolting options for rails, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads.

This plate is almost perfect in the way of functionality. The only issue I have is the lens adapter support threaded holes. I sent a message to GDU asking for supported lens supports and they never got back with me. The holes are too close together to find a support that will fit them. I will most likely have to make a support myself. It is an amazing plate and helps me mount my base plates without an issue. The threaded holes on the side allows me to use cable management.
Be careful - This will not work on a Komodo-X It is now an expensive boat anchor, (but it is not very heavy).
