The Sound Devices A20-2.4G Ant+Mount includes a single SMA antenna with a bracket and extension cable, allowing you to mount the 2.4 GHz antenna to the A20-Nexus receiver at a frontal orientation for better transmission and reception of the digital NexLink control data. NexLink lets you control the receiver remotely from a tablet or computer via the Web App and facilitates remote control of compatible transmitters from the receiver or an 8-Series mixer/recorder.
In addition to the 1/4-wave swivel antenna, the included bracket lets you easily attach the antenna to the side panel of the receiver; the bracket is fitted with an SMA to SMA extension cable to connect the antenna to the rear panel of the receiver. A set of Allen keys is also supplied.
