I ordered two and immediately broke one while trying to install on a large soft box. Should have used an assistant I guess. Will not work on rectangular boxes because they only have four slots for the rods. Made of a cheap composite which is not nearly as durable as aluminum like my strobe speed rings. There are better options for lower prices. I do not recommend these.

how does this attach to a Chimera Pro Small?
The Chimera Pro Small is a 4 pole softbox and the ARRI Speed Ring for 650W Fresnel allows each pole to fit in each corner. It just slides in.

Will this also fit an Altman 650L?
I bought this for an Arri 650 watt fresnel. If that Altman has the same build and fit Arri then it should work. I wouldn't know if they are the same fit and build though. Check with B&H.
