Designed primarily for large campuses and high-density enterprise environments, the Aruba 7280 Mobility Controller helps to enhance WLAN performance by centralizing control functionality for up to 2048 licensed access points, supporting up to 32,768 concurrent users or client devices. In addition to featuring eight 10Gb SFP+ slots alongside two 40Gb QSFP+ slots, this controller supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standards with WPA3 and Enhanced Open security and provides improved AP utilization, security, and client roaming. Dynamic segmentation simplifies and secures your network by enforcing both wired and wireless access policies. At the same time, the 7280 Mobility Controller offers awareness for over 3000 applications without additional hardware while built-in AI features automatically optimizes wireless performance. It can also be clustered together in a network managed by Aruba Mobility Master.
