These LockStar II for CR-3 & CR-4 Swivel Carabiners (2-pack) from BlackRapid are connector covers that can be purchased as spare or replacements for the ones that come with current BlackRapid products using CR-3 and CR-4 swivel carabiners. These covers snap onto the strap's ConnectR hook and prevent the ConnectR lock from coming unlocked during use. They also prevent the metal hardware from coming into direct contact with the camera body.

Bought these to cover the carabiner on my BlackRapid Cross Shot Breathe Camera Strap. It says they will fit on 2 different carabiners but do not on this strap. Disappointed.
I found it really easy to replace, but the very fact that I have to replace one with that broke in less than a year and a half isn't something to be happy about. I'm not a professional, I don't use my camera much. These pieces should be more sturdy.
