Nicely constructed solution, but still a kludge

This does exactly what it was intended to, and looks well-made, but it's still a kludge solution for a design that should have accommodated different camera heights. Making the Silence Corner Atoll with an adjustable-height mounting face, would have made this heightening plate unnecessary.

There's nothing remarkable about this plate. The anodizing doesn't match the Atoll bracket. There's no anti-twist feature, and I'm not impressed with a bracket that comes with shim stickers to level it out if necessary.
