At the heart of the Pro WS motherboard is Intel's LGA 1700 socket, allowing you to add a variety of 12th and 13th Gen Core processors. Four DDR5 RAM slots allow you to install up to 192GB of memory to enhance multitasking and render speeds. Four SATA III, three M.2 PCIe SSD, and one SlimSAS slot interface can support a wide range of storage drives that allow quicker data transfer speeds. The Pro WS W680-ACE has been a dependable backbone for my setup. Power delivery is strong, BIOS options are clear, and the board handles high-demand workloads without any hiccups. Build quality feels premium, and the layout makes installation simple with plenty of expansion options. If you need a stable, professional-grade motherboard that doesn’t get in your way, this one delivers.

Excellent motherboard for custom streaming builds

I run a live-streaming studio and this mobo has been amazing. It was really the only modern, Intel based option that could support multiple x8 and x4 PCIE expansion slots. This was crucial for the number of capture cards needed for camera and audio ingest for our live productions. We mostly run vMix, OBS and accompanying software for our workflow. Cant recommend enough for this type of application!
