Combine the motorized pan/tilt capabilities of the HeadPLUS v2 with tracking and measurement units with the HeadPLUS + Face Track Combo from edelkrone. Smoothly pan your camera rig 360°, tilt it upwards or downwards, and mount it onto an optional tripod, slider, or jib for a variety of remotely controlled shots. The Vision Module allows you to track up to three faces with your camera movements, and the Laser Module provides precise distance measurements for accurate tracking and motion. The HeadPLUS and modules are all remotely controlled via the smartphone app.

Kit Contains:
edelkrone HeadPLUS v2 Pan and Tilt Head
Upgrade your shots with smooth, precise motion using the HeadPLUS v2 Pan and Tilt Head from edelkrone. This updated sturdy aluminum and steel head supports a maximum equipment load of 10 lb. It can be mounted onto a tripod with a 3/8"-16 screw or paired with the SliderPLUS, SliderPLUS PRO, SliderONE, Slide Module v2/v3, DollyONE, DollyPLUS, FocusPLUS PRO (new and old models), or the laser module for smooth, accurate, sharply focused pan-and-tilt sliding shots. The head folds flat, which makes it easy to store in a production bag.
Precise Control
The v2 head can be precisely controlled via the edelkrone smartphone app or it can be moved manually. When mounted on the SliderPLUS or DollyPLUS via 3/6"-18 mount, you can track objects automatically to produce dramatic motion shots such as parallax effects. The head can also be programmed for time-lapse or special effects shots by recording motions and repeating them.
Sturdy Aluminum Design, Included Accessories
The HeadPLUS v2 is made with CNC-machined aluminum and can hold an equipment load of up to 10 lb. It weighs under 5 lb and folds to fit in a bag. The HeadPLUS v2 also includes an L-bracket with 1/4"-20 mounting screw for your camera. You can power the unit with a separately available AC adapter or optional V-mount, Gold mount, LP-E6, or NP-F battery plates.
Smartphone App Control
Connect the edelkrone smartphone app via Bluetooth to control speed and record/repeat motions for time-lapses, visual effects, or other complex shots. The head requires no calibration and operates smoothly and silently. You can either program it for automated motion or operate it manually.
Expandable Design with Separately Available Components
  • Track faces and objects automatically by adding the optional Vision Module to your device. Both face and object tracking can be used back-to-back with Point Tracking. Switch between faces and transmit a live video feed to phones, tablets, and M1 processor Macs.
  • The optional Focus/Zoom Module adds a follow focus system to the HeadPLUS for A/B focus pulling in keypose mode or lens mapping. Automatic focus pulling can be used during Point Tracking.
  • Teach the HeadPLUS a Spatial Point with the optional Target Module. The module shows the device the same point from two different perspectives to facilitate object locking. In the future, it will simplify lens mapping.

edelkrone Vision Module for HeadPLUS v2 & v2 PRO

Add face tracking to your HeadPLUS v2 or HeadPLUS v2 PRO automated video head with the Vision Module from edelkrone. The Vision Module is a great solution for raising your production value with motion shots when you have a small or one-person crew. The module connects to the head to provide accurate, automatic facial or object tracking with a single tap using the companion edelkrone iOS smartphone app, and the head will smoothly follow the subject. It can also provide live, wireless video monitoring for your entire crew, supporting multiple mobile devices.

The module can track faces using automatic one-tap tracking, or you can select up to three faces on a screen and select them as you record live to change the tracking subject. It can also be used to follow arbitrary objects in the camera's field of view. The module can take advantage of the low-light capability of your camera's sensor to maintain tracking accuracy in challenging light conditions. It powers using the battery bracket from the HeadPLUS, and power and video pass through the module to the head. There is also an HDMI loop output to add a local monitor.

Intuitive Face Tracking
The Vision Module adds smart, responsive, and fully automated camera movements to your production that make working with moving subjects easier than ever. It instantly locks on to the face you select with a single tap from your edelkrone app and tracks its movement utilizing the motorized mechanism of HeadPLUS v2 or HeadPLUS v2 PRO. It flawlessly connects and communicates with your entire edelkrone ecosystem to make your workflow even more efficient.

Arbitrary Object Tracking
The Vision Module is designed and optimized for face tracking, and it can also be used for arbitrary object tracking in suitable scenarios, which gives you more options to explore your creativity. The intuitive interface of the edelkrone app makes setting up non-facial tracking very easy.
Live Feed from Your Camera
When combined with HeadPLUS v2 or HeadPLUS v2 PRO, the Vision Module allows you to see what you're tracking through Vision mode as well as Keypose and Target modes using the edelkrone app. The Vision Module can also be used on its own for video transmission from your camera to your mobile device without the need for any additional equipment.

Instant and Advanced Face Tracking
The Vision Module offers the fastest and most intuitive way to track any face that appears on the screen. Just tap "Instant Face Tracking" on the edelkrone app and start filming. The advanced features of the Vision Module include the ability to introduce up to three faces in the edelkrone App and easily switching between them as you film. The face introduction process only takes a few seconds and the Vision Module continues to track faces even if they move in and out of the frame.
Adjustable Framing for Cinematic Results
You can adjust the offset coordinates of your subject inside the camera frame using the edelkrone app to achieve cinematic framing with the Vision Module.
Portable Monitors for You and Your Crew
Just like the rest of the edelkrone ecosystem, HeadPLUS v2 or HeadPLUS v2 PRO setups with the Vision Module can be controlled from a single mobile device at a given time. Multiple devices on a shared network can connect to the same Vision Module to view the live feed directly from your camera. Depending on your Wi-Fi network quality, you can connect more than five mobile devices to Vision Module. This live feed feature works with edelkrone's free app and gives you the option to have several portable "monitors" for your crew.
Accurate Tracking in Challenging Environments
Unlike other products on the market, Vision Module taps directly into your camera's HDMI feed to provide sensitive tracking. Vision Module utilizes the image sensors of your camera to provide perfect tracking, even in typically challenging low light settings.

edelkrone Target Module for HeadPLUS

Pinpoint your subject with speed and precision with the edelkrone Target Module designed specifically for the HeadPLUS and HeadPLUS PRO pan and tilt slider heads. The Target Module slides neatly onto the HeadPLUS slider head just below the camera mount and stays in place with a magnetic plate.

The module integrates with the HeadPLUS app to instantly learn where your target is by aiming the laser and pressing a button. First, it measures the distance, then it locks onto the subject to help achieve complex sliding pan-and-tilt shots. A LINK cable is included to connect the Target Module to the HeadPLUS.
