Based on the overlooked Akai AX73 analog synthesizer from 1986 and packed with over 600 presets, the MARTINIC AX73 is an analog-style, subtractive virtual plug-in synth featuring two layers, each with two voltage-controlled-emulating oscillators. This software version expands the AX73's original six-voice polyphony to 24 voices and allows you to split the layers across the keyboard for two sounds at once or stack them for a massive four-oscillator sound.
Each layer has a filter, chorus, modulation from 4 envelopes, and 4 LFOs. Each layer has a multimode arpeggiator modeled on the AX60 keyboard. Martinic has added a comprehensive eight-unit effects section including Compressor, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, and EQ. The effects can be arranged in any order using the FX Chain.
