It's a magnet on a hook... waste of money

Pretty much what I said, this hooks onto your phone, and holds it in position so you can use your IPhone as your camera. The problem is the hook isnt wide enough to keep it from rocking if you happen to move at all, and it doesnt feel like it wants to stay. More importantly it ties up your phone which is pretty dumb, considering your phones camera isnt that big an upgrade if you're running a newer laptop. Honestly, it's fine. But dumb. Fine and dumb = not worth it IMHO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iPhone Mount works great for the Continuity Cam feature of MacOS. When it was new, the magnet's hold felt very secure and the whole thing would lay flat on the back of the phone. However, after just 4-5 months of very light use (rarely opened the ring grip), something inside it seems to have broken because the ring grip no longer lies flat and the magnetic side of the mount does not lie flush against the phone, which makes me think the magnet won't hold securely and will drop my phone 4ft to the tile floor below, which would destroy the phone. I'm not sure how widespread the issue is, so maybe I'm the only unlucky one. I would have given it 5 stars if I had rated it in the first month or two because of how nice of a feature Continuity Cam is.
