The Snap Headlamp Kit with Carabiner and Bike Mount from Princeton Tec is one versatile piece of gear: it's a headlamp, a bike light, a stick-to-metal trouble light, and a compact handheld flashlight, all in one package. The onyx black, dimmable, 400-lumen lamp has a magnetic base so you can detach it from the headband and stick it to a metal surface (such as your car's fender while you're changing a tire.)  Add the carabiner mount and the clip itself, and the light can hang from a pack strap or tent ceiling. Engage the handlebar mount, and you have a nice bright bike light so you can see and be seen. Along with steady white light, the Snap has a strobe mode and two red light settings to protect your night-acclimated vision. The lamp uses three readily available AAA batteries and will run up to 155 hours on low power.
