The Bolt 6 750 TX monitor module transmits up to 4K video from your camera to your monitor via 6 GHz wireless. Power the 1920 x 1080 monitor with a V-mount battery as well as additional accessories via the integrated D-Tap ports.

SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Monitor

Add an ultra-bright monitor with wireless control to your production rig with the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Monitor. The unit includes an ULTRA 5 bright 5" on-camera monitor and an integrated Bolt 6 transmitter from Teradek. The monitor features a 3000 bright cd/m² display, a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen LCD, HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs/outputs, camera control options, and 10-bit 4:2:2 Rec. 709 color processing.

The built-in transmitter module provides wireless image transmission up to 750', as well as wireless camera control using an optional receiver module on the other end. The module can transmit via the 6 GHz wireless band to up to six Teradek Bolt 6 series receivers, as well as to 5 GHz receivers such as the Teradek Bolt 4K series.

SmallHD Micro Battery Plate for Ultra Series Monitor (V-Mount)

Power your Ultra series monitor using a V-mount battery with this Micro Battery Plate from SmallHD. The battery plate mounts directly onto your monitor using included captive mounting screws, and it provides power to the monitor from a separately available standard or micro-sized V-mount battery.

The battery plate also features two D-Tap outputs that provide 11 to 17 VDC of power for additional accessories. The ports have a 5.8V digital E-fuse that is resettable, providing current protection that will shut the ports down if they are overloaded, without affecting the monitor power.

I bought this to use as my on camera monitor for my FX6 and it has been a huge help in streamlining my workflow on set. I mainly do documentary work so the 3000nit screen and quick adjustability is a huge help going from indoor to outdoor. The image quality is great and never has me guessing if I’m sharp or not. I give the monitor 5 stars before even mentioning the built in Bolt 6 transmitter, which saves so much space and has a basically instant transmission to my director monitor. Not having to mount and run d-tap power to a transmitter really keeps the rig light and concise.

So many great things about this rig. BRIGHT screen and haven't had any issues transmitting. Seems to spot my receivers quickly. Even though it's metal, it doesn't weigh a ton. Really nice to not have both a monitor and TX that need to be powered and mounted. The wonky side is that there is no bluetooth and the USB connections don't connect to a computer to use Bolt Manager on a Mac or PC. It does not connect to the iOS app. Please be aware of this if you use BM or Bolt iOS app to connect your devices.

The only battery plate options for the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Monitor are Gold or V-Mount Micro battery plates.

The RED RAPTOR X is not supported by the SmallHD Camera Control Kit for RED RCP2 (Cine 5/Ultra 5 Monitor) that's included with the SmallHD Ultra 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Wireless Monitor Kit with Control Kit for RED KOMODO.

The antennas on the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Monitor are removed by gripping the base of the antenna and rotating counter clockwise to unscrew the antenna from the monitor.

The SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bolt 6 TX 750 Monitor can connect to up to 6 Teradek (RX) receivers. (up to (6) Bolt 4K / Bolt 6 750, 1500, LT / XT)
