Despite the fact that it is advertised as “dual function,” supporting both speaking and listening, nothing apparently will cause it to be recognized as an audio input device on an iPhone or a Mac. It only shows up as an output, and when selected as an output with a microphone plugged in, no signal from the microphone can be recorded.
