The DPL-09 Universal L-Bracket Quick Release Plate from Sunwayfoto is a single-piece design that is CNC machined from T6061 aluminum with a Type-III hard-anodized finish for durability. The Arca-type L-bracket can mount in both a vertical or horizontal orientation, and dual safety stops are located on the bottom of each axis as a precaution against the L-bracket from sliding out if the quick release clamp is partially opened by accident.
The camera mounts to the bracket via a 1/4"-20 male threaded screw, and the rubberized traction pad base minimizes any camera movement, without marring the camera finish. The DPL-09 features a captive steel 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw in a 2.6" slot, which makes it compatible with a variety of different camera models and allows camera movement to allow camera port access. It has a 1/4"-20 tripod mount in the base, plus four more 1/4"-20 accessory mounts for adding microphones, monitors, small LED lights and more. Three individual bubble levels make precision alignment easy.
