I have been a long-time user of vertical computer mice (?) to relieve early carpal tunnel pain. The first brand I bought was too big for my small hands, the next brand was too flimsy, but this Logitech is just right. I am thrilled that Logitech offers a smaller mouse for smaller hands. It moves smoothly and responds quickly.
I bought this mouse when I started feeling like I was about to suffer some carpel tunnel syndrome - turns out it is (for me at least) rather unwieldy. Yes, it put my hand in the proper orientation and angle, but I found having to physically swipe it back and forth (as one does with a mouse) felt rather awkward. As I checked B&H again I spotted the Logitech ergonomic trackball, and that is what I have been using happily for months now. I would return the mouse but that I tossed out the package and figure it's not worth the bother at this point (unless B&H wants to take pity on me - hint hint). Anyway, not a knock on Logitech or this mouse in particular, other than that, for me, it was just not comfortable. Had I been able to test it and the trackball side by side in person this would have been obvious to me in a matter of minutes.
