Epson D570 Overview

The Epson SureLab D570 is an ultra-compact photo printer supporting 4 x 6" and 3.5 x 5" photo sheets in a glossy, luster, or matte finish. It prints on single- and double-sided glossy and luster sheets. The printer features a top resolution of 1440 x 720 dpi. The average print speed is 14 seconds for a 4 x 6" sheet when printing at 720 x 360 dpi.

This Minilab printer combines Epson's advanced MicroPiezo AMC inkjet printhead with support for UltraChrome D6r-S inks to produce crisp, vibrant photos. Ink bottles are sold separately. With low power consumption, this printer can be powered by an optional 3rd-party portable battery instead of the included AC power supply, so that you can print wherever you are. Epson has not specified which type of battery exactly is supported, but they have advised that it should have a minimum of 100W (to match the 18W power consumption) and that it must have an AC outlet.

In addition to being compact at just 11.7 x 15.7 x 6", the D570 also has a stackable design so that you can scale up your business and add more printers in a neat space-saving setup. For connectivity, the SureLab offers Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet interfaces. Over the built-in Wi-Fi, you can use the Epson Smart Panel app on your iOS or Android device to create professional prints.

Note:
Ink bottles are sold separately. This printer supports Epson T54C inks.

Epson D570 Reviews

BUYER BEWARE!!

This product seems great at first, but a plastic piece broke off on the inside mid print after around 500 pictures. Product information on both this website and manufacturer website said it came with a 3-year warranty. THAT IS A LIE! The manufacture says that based on the serial # my unit only has a 1-year warranty not a 3-year warranty like their warranty statement explicitly says. Unfortunately, you don't know what the serial number is until after unboxing so a normal person would use the information provided in the warranty statement when purchasing. This seller has since changed their website to say 1 year warranty and said it was just a "typographical error" and claims there is nothing they can do. It is all shady and sounds like FRAUD! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR FROM THIS SELLER. THE SELLER AND MANUFACTURE WILL NOT STAND BEHIND IT. (IT SHOULD BE PRETTY CLEAR WHO THE SELLER AND MANUFATURE ARE BUT IF YOU READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU CAN'T CALL THEM OUT BY NAME OR ELSE THEY WOULD DELETE THIS FROM TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT!!)

So far so good

As we are small printing studio and we produce a lot of 4x6 prints, this printer was a great choice for us. We couldn't find too many reviews online, so I will try to write here some useful information that hopefully will help someone who is looking to purchase this printer. Pros: - Printer is very small and compact, it’s stackable - It’s very silent comparing to all other printers - On normal settings on a glossy paper it prints 4x6” around 14 seconds - On best settings it prints 4x6” around 47 seconds - You can insert stack of 100 papers and don’t think about it - With initial set of inks topped to top, before refilling of any color - it produced 1803 prints in 4x6” (When you fill first time to the top, you still have have ~20% of the bottle left to refill just to know) - Quality of the prints is very good. Most people will not notice difference between Normal and Best quality. Cons: - Important: When opened straight from the box, you will need to perform Maintenance Head Cleaning at least 7-15 times before the printer starts actually to print! We didn’t know this, we even called Epson support, they told us to perform cleaning 3-4 times, if it doesn’t work we should return the printer because it’s hardware issue. We unfortunately returned the first printer! They sent us a new one, this one didn’t print neither! Thankfully we searched on YT and we found in the comments there that people did Head Cleaning 7-8 times (for us it was after 13 cleaning processes) started actually to print anything, unbelievable. - In our case it uses a lot of Light Magenta ink - You need to buy inks separately when you buy printer - It supports only 4 x 6” and 3.5 x 5” paper - After we printed 3000 prints it started producing black lines over the first few prints, we figured out that Head Cleaning is required each time we turn on the printer, that helped
