I almost always use single shot AF and photograph stationary subjects- e.g. architecture or landscape. With that said, on the one hand, I love Leica M lenses. On the other hand, my eyes are old enough that I'm not great at using the focus peaking employed by Leica M bodies and Nikon Z bodies for manual focus lenses. ... The TMZ-02 adapter is good in that, when I use the adapter for a Nikon Z body, I can use the Z Wide Area AF and get a box that goes green when in focus. On the whole, I'm quite pleased with the adapter. Then too, I like that the adapter is low-profile and doesn't get in the way of Arca-Swiss plates. Finally, the adapter lets you use the camera body's IBIS. ... I did take off one star, as the AF isn't always correct. Also, if you shoot moving subjects, the adapter's AF is about as fast as Nikon's old screwdriver-focus bodies and lenses.

It’s pretty amazing that lenses that were never meant for AF can now be used with AF. But for me there was a learning curve. The best results came after I read the reviews. AF-C + 3D tracking. I had to learn the limits. Of course, its not to the level of native AF lenses, but it works.

The Techart PRO TZM-02 Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Camera is made for Nikon Z cameras, so it should work on the Nikon ZF, but it has not been tested yet.

Can performance be fine tuned with Nikon's AF fine tune feature on my Z6ii of Z8 or does that only work on AFS lenses?

The Techart PRO TZM-02 Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Camera does not support fine tune AF. But the fine tune AF feature is generally not needed with mirrorless cameras since it is focusing off the sensor.

How can I use this to adaptor for Nikon F mount manual focus lenses to a Nikon Z9/ZF body?

The Techart PRO TZM-02 Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Camera cannot be used to mount an F-mount lens to a Nikon Z-mount camera. It is only compatible with Leica M-mount lenses. We do not have an adapter that supports autofocus using a manual focus F-mount lens.
