Can all four main outputs (2 XLR AND 2 1/4" TRS) be used simultaneously without adverse impedance effects? Or only two?
Hi, I've not used all four at the same time so can't say. My best guess is that there would not be a problem. Likely are isolated but I don't have a diagram so don't know what they have in there. You could likely get the answer on the Soundcraft site. Hopes this helps. Bob

This has a 2x2 USB interface, meaning 2 channels in, 2 channels out, which is basically going to be the stereo mix.

How good are the mic preamps?

No, the Soundcraft Ui Series mixers do not support Dante. However, an option card can be added to mixers in the Si Series to enable Dante compatibility.

The USB ports support USB 2.0. If the device is USB 3.0 it would need to be backwards compatible.

can I use ui 16 as a stagebox?
The Ui16 is a mainly a mixer which is meant to be placed on, or near the stage, and controlled via a tablet or PC. This will not interface as a digital snake for other mixers.
