Implement an indoor/outdoor surveillance monitoring solution for your home with the eufyCam 3 4K UHD Wireless Security Camera Kit from eufy Security. This kit includes two 4K UHD wireless cameras, along with a HomeBase 3 base station for centralized management. The cameras feature an integrated solar panel for power, night vision functionality, a motion-activated spotlight that provides illumination for recording full color video and deterrence of unwanted activity, a built-in speaker and microphone for two-way audio, and a siren to keep intruders and unwanted guests at bay.

I had another brand wireless system that was fine to begin with but when batteries needed recharging, I had to remove the camera to charge. This required re-synching the camera with the base station and that proved to be inconvenient, but near impossible. I was also paying a monthly fee. THIS EUFY SYSTEM REQUIRES NO MONTHY FEE AND SET UP WAS EASY. CAMERA IMAGES ARE SUPER SHARP. MY CAMERAS ARE RECHARGED DAILY BY THE SUN. I ORDERED TWO MORE CAMERAS FOR ADDITIONAL VIEWS AROUND MY HOME

This system installed in about 15 min. Very well designed, real quality. I just ordered two more cameras. Management of the system is straight forward and easy to navigate. The only thing missing is an option for live view over an extended period of time.

Does this eufyCam record directly to the hub hdd through the router or does it require internet?

The eufy Security eufyCam 3 4K UHD Wireless Security Camera Kit comes with the Homebase 3, and the cameras Wi-Fi signal is provided by they Homebase 3 allowing each camera to work as distances of 400ft (Line of sight) However, you will need to have internet access to work with the kit.

In the event of a trigger, can you view the affected camera live & still save the video simultaneously? Current camera won't :/

The eufy Security eufyCam 3 4K UHD Wireless Security Camera Kit BH #EUT88711W1 will not perform both functions simultaneously.as far as we can determine. Be sure to have a fast internet connection above 100 Mbps to avoid latency issues during live streaming/viewing.

How badly does this system eat wifi bandwidth? I want a camera system for the cabin but it is in an area that has dsl over a phone line only. Would this system eat up the limited bandwidth we have?

The eufy Security eufyCam 3 4K UHD Wireless Security Camera Kit would not use your network bandwidth to connect to each camera. The Homebase 3 AI NVR included with the kit would handle communication between each connected camera. You can connect up to 10 cameras to the Homebase 3 kit. The only bandwidth used may be from the Eufy App that connects to the homebase 3.

How far away can I position the camera from the Homebase-3 unit? I am confused as one answer said 400ft, the other 30 ft.

The eufy Security eufyCam 3 4K UHD Wireless Security Camera Kit (BH # EUT88711W1) has a useable range of about 30 feet. Per eufy: The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of HomeBase. In theory, the HomeBase can be 50ft from the WI-Fi router.
