Adjustable HF boost bandwidth (sharp or broad) and a frequency selection range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz makes the PEQ-2 an inviting yet powerful processor that allows for quick or granular adjustments of the frequencies in your material in any recording, mixing, or mastering application. The PEQ-2 includes the HA-PSU04 and an AC cord, so you can start processing audio right away.
The PEQ-2 has nearly twice as many frequency options to choose from when compared to the Pultec: 26 versus the Pultec´s 14. The low end is infinitely more controllable as the LANG gives you the ability to boost and cut at different frequencies, unlike the Pultec.
Each boost and droop knob has its own assigned frequency selection knob and its own gain range. There is also a gain adjustment trimmer for adding +16 dB or subtracting -12 dB from the overall gain range.
