The Kodak Integrated A4/Legal Size Flatbed Accessory streamlines scanning bulky, bound, and delicate documents with ease. Compatible with the Kodak Alaris S2000 and E1000 series scanners, such as the E1030, it docks underneath the scanner and allows you to easily scan magazines, books, photo enlargements, oversize envelopes, thicker items, bound presentations, and other bulky originals. There are no thickness limitations. Bound originals, for example, are held safely and securely flat during scanning. Book-edge scanning features let you capture one page at a time to eliminate blurred or dark imaging in the "gutter" area of a book.
Save and send files in a variety of formats, including single- and multi-page JPEG, PDF, searchable PDF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, RTF, and select other formats. Scan at the touch of a button with smart touch technology, which allows you to scan your document to file, email, Microsoft SharePoint, and other applications quickly. Also, thanks to support for TWAIN, ISIS, and some Linux drivers, there's no need to use multiple scanner drivers.
When used with the S2060w or S2080w scanner, the A4/Legal Flatbed Accessory can be used in a wireless network workflow. The combination makes it possible for multiple users to easily share the Flatbed Accessory in a distributed environment. The Flatbed Accessory provides a solution when more users need to scan exception documents or when volumes increase.
This add-on accessory shares the same footprint as the scanner and takes up less space than a detached flatbed. For connectivity, it features a 1' power pigtail and includes two USB cables.
