A good quality mirror lens

As mirror lenses go, this one is well-built and provides a powerful telephoto view in a very small package. The f8 speed isn't really an issue if you set your camera to a high ISO and shoot outdoors at a high shutter speed, or if you use a tripod. I have purchased a couple of lower-quality lenses like this in the past, and found that it's definitely worth paying more to get a better one.

Yes, the Tokina SZ 600mm f/8 Pro Reflex MF CF Lens (Canon EF-M) is compatible with the Canon M50. It is only manual focus though.
