The Auray STBAR-9 Microphone Stereo Bar with Angle Adjustment is the ideal accessory for capturing stereo sound with two microphones on one mic stand. Recording an orchestra, choir, or acoustic piano requires careful placement of two mics in a stereo configuration. Diagrams engraved into the center of the bar indicate the precise microphone angles for rapidly setting up A-B, X-Y, and ORTF stereo configurations.
Markings on each side of the bar allow you to measure the distance between the capsules from 9 to 20cm apart. The STBAR-9 also offers pan, swivel, and tilt adjustment for fine-tuning your microphone placement. And two spacers are also included to keep the microphones separated for stacked arrays.
