Designed for small- and mid-sized organizations and distributed enterprise with SD-Branch locations, the SonicWALL TZ270 High Availability Unit is a back-up for an identical Standalone Firewall. Once it is associated with another device and properly configured, the high availability (HA) device will enter a standby state while sharing security and support licensing with the primary firewall. Once the primary unit comes back online, it will retake active status, and the HA unit will return to its standby state. Highly scalable, it features both inbuilt and an expandable storage of up to 256GB that enables logging, reporting, caching, firmware backup, and more.
