This Purchase Was Made Necessary When I Purchased The Nanlite FC500B, Which Has A Separate Power Supply That Really Needs To Be Attached Securely To A Stand. The Mount Is Not A Standard V Mount But Rather A Proprietary Mount That Will Only Fit This Mounting Bracket Clamp. The Clamp Is Extremely Well Made At Least, So I Have No Concerns As To How Securely The Power Supply Will Be Held. It Is, I Suppose, The Most We Can Hope For Given The Reasonable Price Of The FC500B Unit; Any "accessories" Will Need To Be Purchased Separately But Will Likely Be Very Well Made.

Yes, the Nanlite Quick Release Super Clamp for Forza 720, 500 II, and 300 II is also compatible with the Nanlite PavoSlim 240B Bi-Color LED Panel controller.

Will this work with the new Nanlite fc300? I got some for the Fc500's but it looks like the fc300 is a regular vmount lock.

Yes, as an owner of both this clamp and an FC500B, I can confirm it works. The case even has a cutout where this fits perfectly.

No, the Nanlite Quick Release Super Clamp for Forza 720, 500 II, and 300 II does not work with the Forza 500 version one.
