Sturdily constructed and widely compatible, this hexadecagon softbox has a standard Bowens S-mount speed ring that works with a variety of lights. The G-Capsule comes with a zippered carry case for portability and multiple items including a front diffuser, reflective and shoot-through inner baffles, a grid, and more. Also included is a magnetic gel filter holder with four gel filters in red, yellow, green, and blue.

To change the color gel, will the softbox have to be disassembled from the front, or is there a side opening for easy access?

Yes, when changing the color on the Phottix G-Capsule Hexadecagon Standard Softbox (26"), you do need to disassemble the front by removing the diffusion; then you can attach the gel filter holder.
