Where did you get the 10-bit spec from? I can't find that info on the Dell website or the manual itself.
The Dell UltraSharp 42.51" 4K Monitor is considered 10-bit because it can display 1.07 billion colors. An 8-bit monitor would only be able to display 16.7 million colors.
