A total of 9.2 speakers can be connected to the Sony STR-AZ3000ES 9.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (B&H # SOTRAZ3000ES). Depending on the connectivity features of a wireless speaker, it can connect to this receiver via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. A pre-out is not necessary.
