Drawmer CMC2 Overview

Compact, Accurate, and Affordable
Designed to provide top-quality audio, transparency, and accuracy for smaller project studios, the CMC2 from Drawmer is a compact monitor controller with an active circuit that delivers exactly what is being recorded to your monitors of choice, be they speakers, subs, or headphones, without sacrificing any of the essential features expected in a studio monitoring environment. The large volume knob incorporates a paralleled, custom quad pot for excellent channel matching and a smooth feel, while advanced mix checking functions such as phase reversal, dim, and mono selections let you set up the optimal mix in a flash.

Connections are provided for up to two pairs of speakers and a subwoofer with variable source selection, making it easy to perform A/B comparisons, while input options include two 1/4" stereo pairs for mixers and DAWs as well as a handy 3.5mm stereo aux input for smartphones and other audio sources. Rugged and stylish, the CMC2 is a joy to carry to your next session thanks to its durable steel enclosure, which protects your controller circuitry while retaining a low-profile design that fits perfectly on any desktop.

Accurate and Transparent
With the same Drawmer pedigree as the MC2.1, the CMC2 circuit is just as transparent and accurate. Its switches and paralleled custom-quad knobs have excellent channel matching with a smooth feel. Put simply, you hear exactly what you've recorded.
Multiple Connections
The CMC2 is very well connected with two stereo 1/4" balanced jack inputs, plus a 3.5mm jack for your smartphone or MP3 Player, with variable level control. It supports two sets of stereo monitors plus a subwoofer, each with individual switches, so you can activate them in any order, especially useful for A/B comparisons.

In addition, it has a professional-quality headphone output with a separate amplifier and level control, providing the same audio quality and mix checking as the CMC2 delivers through the speakers. Key Mix check features such as Phase Reverse, Mono, and Dim & Mute are also included to enable you to examine the quality of your recordings with ease.

Compact
The CMC2 packs a lot of features into a small package. With a footprint of just 7.2x6.5" and a very low profile, the CMC2 won't hog your desk space like some other controllers do. And if you're on the move, it's small enough to pop into a bag to take anywhere.
Tough and Secure
Whilst being smart and stylish, the rugged, all steel enclosure will withstand the knocks and bumps of the studio, and coupled with the high-quality components used, the CMC2 is built to last. In addition, a Kensington security slot provides protection from thieves.
