Drawing circuit design elements from Drawmer's high-end products but sporting simplified controls for easier operation, the MX30-Pro utilizes extensive automatic, program-adaptive functions for the gate circuit, release parameter, and soft knee compressor, so that even an inexperienced user can get quality performance out of this processor with minimal hassle.
The MX30-Pro features plenty of hands-on control too, including selectable peak limiting, ratio adjustment from 1:2:1 to infinite:1 for true hard limiting, selectable dual-mono or stereo operation, gate threshold control (from -70 to +20 dB), and more, while the clear nine-segment LED meters let you easily keep an eye on your signals at all times. This dynamics processor features an internally switched power supply with global compatibility, and includes an AC power cord to get you started right away.
Once the peak has passed, the system gain will return to normal over the period of about one second. This facility is extremely valuable both in live sound applications, for driver protection, and in digital recording where an absolute maximum recording level exists. Furthermore, when overdriven, it can be used creatively to produce deliberate pumping effects.
