The compact ScanShell 800R Card Scanner from Entrust allows you to scan CR80-sized ID cards and business cards. Simply insert a driver's license or business card and the scanner will read and extract text, a full license image, and/or the face and signature. This data can then be easily imported into your ID card or visitor software program.
The scan speed is up to 6ppm for black and white scans, and 3ppm for color scans. Featuring a 600 dpi optical resolution, the 800R provides a clear scan output. The TWAIN-compatible scanner connects to your computer via a USB interface with no need for a power supply.
