The 4' PX4-RGB Pixel RGB LED Tube Light from Genaray delivers an expressive palette of color options, modes, and customizable settings for the creative indie filmmaker. Select from 2800 to 8000K in CCT mode, 0° to 360° RGB, HSI, and a plethora of color gels. Customize the light to match specific lighting needs to create dazzling lighting and cinematography.

The PX4-RGB features independently controlled pixels that benefit from seven pixel effects, providing customizable color and motion lighting to enhance videos. The integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery allows it to be positioned in hard-to-reach locations without connected power. Wirelessly control the light over Bluetooth with the Genaray RGB Series App from any mobile device. Adjust all the settings and effects for up to 99 fixtures with the mobile app. For additional control, the PX4-RGB can be connected to a DMX console in single or daisy-chained configuration.

NOTE: These lights are not a substitute for light fixtures designed for permanent and continuous use. The maximum continuous runtime is 10 hours when using the AC power supply.

Wide Color Palette
The Pixel Tube Light provides an enormous palette of color and light. Switch between 2800 and 8000K, or choose a specific color out of the 360° RGB spectrum. Choose between a multitude of color gels or set specific hues, saturation, and intensity that best match the color quality and accuracy required.
Bluetooth Wireless Control
Control the light wirelessly via Bluetooth from up to 35 feet away. The Genaray RGB app allows light settings and effects to be edited from an iOS or Android device with just a touch of your finger.
Grouped Settings
Create up to 99 groups and control 99 lights, which makes it easy to program groups of lights at the same time. Change all the key lights at once and then all the background lights without having to individually adjust each light.
DMX Control
Set up 512 DMX channels to control the light and settings from a DMX console. Run lighting sequences from a single source, using seven profiles to fit individual programming needs. Adjust between different loss behaviors as an added benefit when working on sensitive setups.

first time trying a genaray product, after bein suggested this tube by customer service several times. it has cool features in the specs, wanted to like it, but it won't turn on at all. was hoping to connect the genaray px1 to belkin boostcharge power bank 10k, affordable 10k mAh power bank, but it won't turn on. pretty disappointed. returns are a hassle for a cheaper item, though in fairness bhphoto is typically very fair w their best in inudstry return policy. jus annoying it didnt work out of the box. i understand in filmmaking, any light under $500 is kind of a toy. and weirdly, it seems the higher u spend u also run into more money, more problems. but i've tried like 5 different brands of 1ft tube lights now and the only two i liked were the yc onion energy tube (includes rechargeable, swappable 18650 stock battery, and apparently can be powered by an external belkin boostcharge power bank 10k as well, and has bluetooth, good app, all good features) and the standard nanlite pavotube 6c ii (classic, but slow app, and really terrible battery life, made useless in winter). i've definitely returned more of these hundred dollars-ish tube lights than i've kept. i just want to light from the interior ceiling of a car wothout spending $1k on a non-rgb light mat, lol. im tired. sadface.

Bought two of these for use in indoor macro/close up photography and to create colored abstracts. They are an excellent size for this work and the range of features are exactly as described. Using the iPad app to control these makes adjustments a breeze without having to move them from where they had been carefully placed.

What DMX cables do I use to daisy chain these together? The manual says 3-pin mini DMX but I can't find any mini DMX cables.

No, the Genaray PX4-RGB Pixel RGB LED Tube Light (4') is not magnetic. However, the Genaray PX1-RGB Pixel RGB LED Tube Light (1') has a magnetic mount.

The Genaray PX1-RGB Pixel RGB LED Tube Light (1') can be powered via AC. Once unplugged, it will run from its internal battery. Yes, it can be used while charging.
