HDMI ports allow you to connect two systems with dual-monitor support, giving you enhanced support whether they are workstations or servers. Additionally, the front panel offers convenient access to audio connectivity.

Two USB-A 2.0 connections provide support for your mouse and keyboard, while four USB-B ports connect to your host system's ports with optional cables. The KVM switch features a dedicated USB-A port located at the front of the device for authorized CAC readers and supported Biometric Readers. Additionally, the RJ11 port allows you to connect an optional Remote Selector.

The IOGEAR Secure KVM Switch's hardware security is comprised of tamper-evident seals, active chassis intrusion detection, and tamperproof hardware. Embedded software security allows administrators to grant controlled USB port access for keyboards, mice, and other devices while ignoring commands from non-HIDs when switching between ports. The onboard software restricts mouse and hotkey commands while clearing the keyboard's buffer when switching ports, ensuring data travels isolated on each port to prevent exposure.

This Secure KVM Switch is NIAP-certified and compliant with PP4.0 (Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Switch version 4.0) requirements, satisfying the security requisites set by the US Department of Defense for peripheral sharing switches. Common criteria compliance ensures maximum information security while sharing a single set of approved HIDs—keyboards, mice, speakers, CAC readers, and Microsoft Biometric Readers—between multiple computers. Conformity with Protection Profile v4.0 certifies that non-approved USB peripherals will be rejected and cannot be connected to the Secure KVM, providing high-level security, protection, and data safekeeping.

You can use this KVM switch on a wide range of Windows 7, 8.1, 10, macOS, and Linux systems. Keyboard and mouse emulation allow you to control a macOS-based device with a standard Windows keyboard. Multilingual keyboard mapping supports English, French, and German keyboards for optimal support.
