I continue to see disgruntled buyers for the same reasons. In my opinion, it should be removed and should not be allowed to be sold until the vendor steps up and fixes the issue. The design is flawed in many ways but primarily they covered all the essential controls including the 1.4 TC lever. B&H will continue to process returns but is not fair for the buyer to have to cover the fees. Please do better!

Purchased for the new Nikon Z 600mm f/4 Lens. First segment that fits over the front part of the lens was way too large. It did not fit. Glad it wasn't the last piece to put on! Rejected and returned. Not Good LENSCOAT.

Is it possible to buy only the part that fits over the lens hood?

When it comes to the LensCoat Lens Cover for Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S Lens (Realtree Max4) you can not get the camo cover for just the hood and that appears to be the case with most other brands as well. A potential solution is to get a LensCoat TravelHood (Large, Realtree MAX-4), BH# LETHLM4.

Will the 600mm F4 FL ED VR (F mount) fit the new 600mm F4 TC Z mount?

The LensCoat Lens Cover for Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S Lens (Realtree Max5) is only designed for the Z-mount Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S Lens; it is not compatible with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens, B&H # NI6004EEDVR. Additionally, the coat for the F-mount lens is not compatible with the Z-mount lens.
