This Framax Scrim Jim Frame from Proaim is a 4 x 4' lightweight and modular light control system that sets up in minutes to support a scrim jim fabric panel 8 (available separately). This easy-to-use kit is ideal for photographers and filmmakers who travel often and want total control of their lighting.
Each CNC-machined aluminum tube is 46" long and connects to other tubes easily via the included, self-locking 2D corner connectors, which keep the frame set intact throughout the shot, and are easy to remove for quick teardown. The tubes have hook-and-loop edging on parallel sides for instant placement of your choice of fabric on the frame with corner security tabs to enable mounting even in windy conditions. A 3/8"-16 mount is built into each tube for streamlined mounting.
