What is the external SSD faster than built in? I want to not regret buying external 1TB slower than internal 1TB

There is no external SSD that is going to be faster than what the internal SSD on the Apple Mac mini (M2 Pro), B&H # APMACMINM228 but you can get close if you use a Thunderbolt 3 SSD which can reach approximately 2500MB/s like the SanDisk Professional 1TB PRO-G40 SSD Thunderbolt 3 Portable SSD, (B&H # SAS311TB).
