If this has a maximum torque of 1.2nm, does that mean it's less responsive than the mk3.1 and motr.x?

Yes, the Teradek RT MOTR.S Max Lens Motor does have less torque than the MK3.1 and MOTR.X. However, the tradeoff is that this is faster.
