The Enova NXT True Mold XLR Microphone Cable (16.4') is a flexible and reliable cable built for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces, and recorders. True Mold technology fully integrates the cable and connectors, providing strain relief that withstands a higher force than conventionally manufactured XLR cables to ensure outstanding strength and durability that stands up to the rigors of live stage and studio applications. This is a weather and Moisture Resistant Cable.

Enova True Mold cables are made from 24 AWG wire with a 98% copper spiral outer shield that makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Swiss-made EnovaNxt connectors are gold-plated to provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are protected by heat-shrink tubes. The modern and slick design of the body allows for enhanced handling and the tapered design puts an end to drooping cables.

The True Mold technology merges the connectors and the cable to a fully integrated, ready-made-cable. Only the essential components of the XLR connectors are used and as a result overcoming the weaknesses of the individual connectors.
Manufactured in Europe, the EnovaNxt cable is designed for on-stage applications and offers an improved production again dust and water.
Gold-plated XLR contacts ensure an optimal conductivity, better corrosion protection and increased durability when mating frequently.

The first thing I felt upon unboxing is how flexible the Enova NXT True Mold XLR Microphone Cable is.  This is important to me especially when uncoiling the cable or wrapping it back when done, which also comes included with a nice velcro. Most cables come with just that annoying wire twist that takes you 20 seconds to unwrap, which also causes marks on the cable. Also, this cable is NOT made in China! How is that for a change? It is also gold plated for better signal transfer. I will be using this cable with a Senal XU-2496-C XLR to USB-C Audio Interface on location in conjunction with a portable sound booth. 50 feet is just the bright length to me, not too short or long, perfect for what I need. This will be a simple and easy setup: A MacBook Pro, THIS cable, audio interface and the portable boot. And of course you can use this cable on microphones, digital field recorders, anything with an XLR. And again, what I like about this cable is how soft the cabling material is and the extreme bending tolerance if you need to plug the ends of this cable into a DJ console, where things are tight in that enclosure.
