Built to support up to 17 lb of imaging gear, the Explore Scientific ES-FOC3 Self-Centering Focuser is compatible with 152 and 165mm refractor telescopes. Its self-centering compression design applies uniform pressure for a secure fit. A helical rack-and-pinion system lubricated with PTFE silicone provides an easy glide with maximum precision and minimal backlash.
The 5.7 lb focuser comes with 2 and 3" lock adapters for visual or camera accessories, and it has a back cell adapter with no-tool knobs for compatibility with select Explore Scientific refractors with apertures ranging from 120 to 140mm. The manual-tightening knobs make it easy to rotate the focuser.
