Purpose-built for content creators, videographers, and newsgatherers looking for a stress-free wireless experience, the Sennheiser EW-DP ENG SET Combo is a camera-mount, fully digital wireless microphone system that utilizes professional UHF transmission to reliably deliver Sennheiser's pristine, broadcast-quality audio directly to your camera. This configuration includes an EW-DP EK camera-mount, single-channel receiver with mounting kit, a lightweight EW-D SK bodypack transmitter with unobtrusive ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier mic, and an EW-DP SKP plug-on transmitter with built-in recorder and +48V phantom power. Also included are 3.5mm and XLR output cables to connect the receiver to a DSLR/mirrorless camera or to a recorder or mixer.

Can you record to the SKP while you are transmitting with the body pack all while synced with timecode?

"Yes - the EW-DP SKP can record 24-bit or 32-bit float audio in .WAV format from either the XLR or 3.5 mm connection to a removeable MicroSD while simultaneously transmitting to the EW-DP EK receiver. It's important to note that the 3.5 mm connection will take priority whenever in use, so you're not able to have both an XLR mic and lav mic active at the same time for transmission or recording purposes."

Can I connect the Shure sm7b wirelessly to my camera?
No, because the SM7B requires a significant amount of gain. However, you could use the Shure SM7dB with the phantom power on the Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Digital Plug-On Wireless Transmitter/Recorder (R1-6: 520 to 576 MHz) activated, and that would be a similar solution that allows you to use it wirelessly.
