Axis Communications F2115-R Overview

The F2115-R Varifocal Sensor from Axis Communications is designed to be used with modular F91 main units (available separately) for a discreet indoor surveillance solution. This varifocal sensor captures 1080p resolution video at up to 60 fps. The 3.2-5.7mm lens delivers a 107.4 to 56.3° horizontal field of view.

Axis F91 main unit and TU6004-E SMA-FAKRA or TU6005 (plenum cable) SMA-FAKRA cable required for operation (available separately)
Connects to F91 main unit via cables up to 98' for a flexible, neat, and discreet installation
Durable SMA connector
Fixed IR cut filter for day and night switching
PVC and BFR/CFR free

Can this camera be used as a standalone with a ...

Can this camera be used as a standalone with a regular Windows based PC or does it have to have their proprietary box?

The Axis Communications F2115-R Varifocal Indoor Sensor, BH #AXF2115R, cannot be used as a standalone, as it is technically a sensor and not a complete camera with processing power. It also does not have a network interface (RJ45 port) or any sort of power management. All things necessary to be used as a standalone peripheral with Windows.
