CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System (T: 902 to 928 MHz)

The CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix Mono In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System provides musicians and actors with a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for hearing themselves clearly, enhancing their performance during live shows. Added benefits to in-ear monitoring include consistent sound from venue to venue or wherever the performers go on stage, increased freedom of movement, and less feedback when working with quiet vocalists.

Quad-Mix Transmitter, Great for the Whole Band
  • The system comes with a GXLIEM4 base transmitter, four bodypack receivers, and four pairs of MEB1 earsets. The GXLIEM4 transmits four discrete mono mixes, one for each of the four performers wearing a bodypack receiver.
  • For shows with even more performers, you can add as many receivers as needed to your system (additional receivers available separately).
Fast to Set Up and Easy to Use
  • The robust, all-metal 1 RU rack transmitter features removable antennas and can be rackmounted in flight cases or permanent installations using the included hardware.
  • ScanLink technology with infrared transmitter setup precisely scans 16 frequencies and selects the cleanest channel for clear audio at a range up to 100'. Quickly pair the transmitter and receiver at the press of a button.
  • The system operates in the 900 MHz band, free from TV signal interference.
  • High-contrast LCD displays on the transmitter base and the receivers show frequency channel and battery level.
  • The bodypack receivers are equipped with a volume knob for comfortable listening and operate for up to 10 hours on two AA batteries. The auto-lock feature prevents settings from being altered accidentally.

CAD GXLIEM Reviews

Great For Small Church

These Are Not Shure Units, Expectations Should Be Realistic, But They Have Their Purpose In The Right Environment. For A Year We Have Used These Weekly For Wireless Ears With Zero Problems And Lots Of Rotating Volunteers. Now We Don't Use The Earbuds, We Use Kz As10, But The Unit Itself And The Packs Are Fine. I Would Not Recommend For Instruments Like Bass Or Drums, Because They Can Break Up On Sub 80hz Frequencies. However, For A Vocalist In A Small Church Singing With A Click And Track, It's A Budget-friendly Fix.

A good unit in this price range

I bought his as my first Wireless IEM, and not wanting to spend too much money. I know the brand is budget friendly, and I didn't want to have a 2.4 GHz IEM since it's very crowded. The unit is well done, looks sturdy and has all the accessories you may need, including decent earphones, rack mount ears and an antenna extender. The range is quite good, and the sound is clear. However, the inherent hiss they have is annoying, this is related to either a poor preamp design or just too much gain, which you can't control on the belt pack receiver. Also, I read so many others IEM systems have a similar issue, including Sennheiser. I was even thinking of returning them until my son needed to use it for an expected show, and they worked really well. I'll keep them, they are not perfect, but for the price, they do the job.

How does battery charging work here?
Asked by: Christian
The CAD GXLIEM2 Dual-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System uses AC power for the tranmitter, and the included CAD GXLIEMBP Bodypack Receiver uses two AA batteries for powering. AA batteries, if rechargeable, should have their own proprietary charger.

Hi friends, before ordering the Transmisor GXLIEM4,I would like to know if I can connect it directly to notebook to transmit through zoom app 4 speakers, or is it necessary to pass through an audio table? BR, Abraham
Asked by: abraham
You could come directly from a headphone into the transmitter with a 3.5mm to 1/4" cablle. You would need to send a mono signal out of the headphones. This unit however is made to transmit to headsets, not speakers.

Are the inputs stereo TRS? Do the receivers receive and output audio in stereo?
Asked by: Dean
No, the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System provides mono audio input and output. The inputs on the transmitter base are 1/4" TS and the receivers have a 3.5mm TRS headphone output connection for dual mono audio so you will hear the same audio through both ears.
