The black Sontronics PODCAST PRO is a dynamic broadcast microphone designed to deliver a clean and clear vocal sound out of the box for a range of applications including podcasting, broadcasting, voice-over work, gaming, and more. The supercardioid polar pattern yields tight frontal pickup with enhanced side rejection, while the integral 3-layer pop screen impedes problematic vocal plosives and sibilance.
The dynamic capsule produces a frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz, ideal for detailed speech and vocals without EQ. The PODCAST PRO features an integrated stand mount for easy placement on any mic stand or boom arm. Its balanced 3-pin XLR output allows standardized connectivity with a variety of mic preamps, audio interfaces, and mixers.
This microphone is part of the B&H Virtual Mic Locker, an online tool to help our valued customers determine the sonic differences between popular microphones for podcasting and voice over work. Each microphone was recorded using a Grace Design M103 preamp into a Presonus Quantum 2626 interface.

Sontronics Elevate Multi-Positional Desktop Microphone Stand

The Sontronics Elevate is a multi-positional desktop microphone stand suitable for use in podcasts, streaming applications, and video calls. Featuring three lockable joints, it can be adjusted to many different positions. The Elevate stand is lightweight but supports mics weighing up to 2.2 lb. It clamps to desk surfaces up to 2.4" thick and is height-adjustable from 13.3 to 37". Recessed channels and clips along the length of the stand help keep your cables organized and out of the way.

Sontronics XLR-USB Female XLR to Male USB-C Cable with ADC for Dynamic Microphones (9.8')

Record your dynamic XLR microphone to your computer or mobile device using the XLR-USB from Sontronics. This 9.8' cable features a female XLR connector on one end that plugs into your mic, and a male USB-C connector at the other end that plugs into your Mac/Windows computer or mobile device. The cable features a built-in low-latency analog-to-digital converter supporting sampling rates of 44.1 and 48 kHz at 16-bit resolutions. Built-in noise reduction ensures quality sound.
