Found the best price on 2 256GB PNY Flash Drives at B&H and purchased. They work well so far which is reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Time will tell.

Great, Inexpensive Choice

Over the last few years, I've been buying cheap 10-packs of unbranded USB drives from Amazon because they're so cheap. Lately, though, I've been using flash drives more and more. Well, surprise, surprise. The Amazon flash drives just aren't holding up. They're literally falling apart. "But, they're so cheap," I say. So, finally, I got my cheapo senses in check. I looked for VALUE instead. These drives are sturdy, fast, and inexpensive enough. Don't be as cheap as I was. Just invest in these "value" drives, ok?

What is the actual speed of reading and writing ...

What is the actual speed of reading and writing of this drive. I know the interface is USB 3, but that only determines how fast the interface can transfer data, not how fast the chips and software on the drive can read/write. Has anyone actually tested it? PNY? B&H?
