APC AP4453A Reviews

Missing crucial L5-30P output

I have been using APC for over 30 years now, as they have always had great products. We typically buy the 30 amp 120 volt Smart-UPS and PDU's with the L5-30P connector, to utilize the full 30 amps on these units. However, I do not understand why APC did not provide a L5-30P output for this 30 amp automatic transfer switch. It has x2 L5-30P 30 amp inputs, but only allows for 20 amp outputs. Can APC please look at adding this going forward? Two of your competitors have already incorporate an L5-30P output for their 120v 30 amp transfer switches. The Tripp Lites PDUMNH30AT2 and CyberPower PDU44003 both have this feature. CyberPower goes one step further and included a built in PDU on for all the 120v output ports. I would hope that APC could at least include an L5-30P outlet at a minimum. Thanks!
