This bundle pairs the VENICE 6K Digital Motion Picture Camera with a MultiDyne SilverBack V camera back transceiver, a SilverBack-VB base station 12G/3G transceiver, a Juice 48 external power supply, a tally light, 1 RU and 2 RU rackmount kits, and multiple breakout cables. The MultiDyne SilverBack-VB system creates a single-cable, full-bandwidth fiber-optic connection between the camera back transceiver and the base station. The VENICE 4K Live Bundle can transmit one each bidirectional 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI video signal between the camera and your control room, broadcast truck, or video village.
The VENICE 6K camera's PL lens mount, dual-base ISO, 16-stop dynamic range, and built-in ND filters enhance your video capture with shallow depth of field, low-light capture, shadow and highlight detail, and iris control. Supported video resolutions include up to DCI 4K 17:9 and UHD 4K 16:9 in Super35, and up to 6K 17:9 and 5.7K 16:9 in full frame with an optional license. Record 4K XAVC and HD Apple ProRes internally or use the optional AXS-R7 unit for external X-OCN/RAW capture. Providing a flexible design configuration within a single camera body, the Sony VENICE 6K Digital Motion Picture Camera is meant to provide you with just the amount of camera you need, so you don't have to invest in more than necessary. It features a full-frame CMOS sensor with 15+ stops of dynamic range, but in its basic configuration it windows the sensor to shoot Super 35. The camera comes with a removable PL Mount that supports the Cooke /i Technology lens metadata protocols, allowing you to work with cinema-style glass ranging from vintage to modern. As is, the camera supports DCI and UHD 4K capture, while planned and scheduled firmware updates will enable anamorphic, full-frame, and select frame rates from 1 to 72 fps.
Remove the PL Mount to reveal a Sony E-Mount with a locking outer ring that allows you to mount your lens and then rotate the ring to secure it, creating a strong mounting system that does not require you to rotate your E-Mount lens when mounting it to the camera. Eight integrated and motorized ND filters range from clear to seven stops of ND in one-stop increments. The camera features a built-in assistant-side info screen, along with a smaller basic info display screen on the operator side of the camera. The SilverBack V 4K SMPTE Fiber Transceiver from MultiDyne provides a robust, full bandwidth fiber optic link between any 12G-SDI, quad-link, or dual-link 4K video camera and your truck, control room, or video village position. This system puts all the signals needed for multi-camera 4K/UHDTV production onto a single tactical or SMPTE hybrid fiber cable, ensuring robust, trouble-free connectivity on any studio or remote production. The SilverBack V can be powered via a fiber cable and the internal JUICE48 system or by using the integrated V-mount battery plate and a separately available battery.
- This fiber camera adapter can transport up to one 12G-SDI, two 6G-SDI, or four 3G-SDI signal paths from the camera to the Base Station, and one return path the other way.
