This card reader seems very well made, and it works excellent. The only drawback I see is the supply cord is too short. I’m using the Delkin supply cord, which is much longer. But I think the Xcellon card reader is made better than the Delkin.

I had to replace my old card reader that just seemed to stop working for no reason. That one was considerably more expensive than the Xcellon but I though I would give it a try....based on B&H reviews. I'm glad I did...durable and fast it seems to a great bang for the buck!

No, the Xcellon CFexpress Type B Card Reader can only read CF Express cards with that specific card slot. Another option would be Xcellon CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD Card Reader; the two card slots fit both SD and CF Express Type B.
